Sixty Pounds

Another milestone reached on the weight loss journey!  Sixty lbs lost…

Slow and steady is absolutely the way to win this race.  Overall, I’m pretty happy with my progress.  I have truly made lifestyle changes that I can continue the rest of my days.  Are there more to make?  Yes.  Do I know precisely what they are? No.  I suspect as I get closer to my goal (halfway there…wow), I expect  to have to work a little harder to make progress and I will need to figure out what works at that time.

The “too big” pile of clothes is starting to grow again.  Today, my favorite lounge-y pjs went in 🙁  When the weather cools down more, I will see about finding a new favorite set.   The jeans I bought over the summer that were a bit snug are now a bit loose.  Not enough to replace yet, but I’ll be doing that before year end, I’m sure.

My arms and legs are getting noticeably smaller (to me).  I moved my hand a little too quick on Friday and the ring I wear on my thumb (a silver puzzle ring) flew off!  I’m hoping to trade it in for a smaller size in February at the AZ Renaissance Faire 🙂

I’m now able to sit comfortably cross-legged on the couch.  I’m walking two miles easily in the morning and climbing stairs regularly at my office without gasping at the top…

I am so glad I started on this journey!
