Progress and a First 2013 Finish

I’ve finished off two more rotation slots:

The Scarlett House’s Christmastide at Holly House:

I added the roof, the apple basket and two trees with this 10 hour block.

And my first DH Small finish:  Edinburgh Castle from Textile Heritage

Don’t let the small size fool you (like it did me).  This little baby took 11.5 hours to complete.

I’m about halfway thru my next slot… :)

    Congrats on the finish! Your last post inspired me to go looking for the Edinburgh kit, but then I spent too much money on yarn and had to set getting this aside for a few weeks.

    Yours looks really cool! My dad and I visited the castle (and stayed on the Royal Mile) a decade and a bit ago, so this brings back some happy memories.

    Great start to the new year Annette! I’ve decided to once again try a rotation this year, it remains to be seen if I will stick to it. Congratulations on your weight loss. I think that’s awesome!
