Clouds

On my way to class this morning (last day of a 2-day hacker application security class.  Interesting learnings will come tomorrow), the clouds were just gorgeous.

My first thought…  “I wish I had my camera.”

It only took me about 10 seconds to get to my second thought… “Duh, I have my phone.”

Here’s what I was driving in to:

Not bad for a pic out the front windshield with my Blackberry.  I love the gorgeous blue on the top and the grey of the rain clouds below.

A few minutes later, I saw this:

You can just make out the double rainbow.  Pretty cool 🙂

Thanks everyone for the great response to my Blog-versary and its giveaways 🙂  As some of you have noted, the stash one is pretty good sized….

I think I could do this monthly for at least 2-3 years before making a significant dent in my stash.  As anyone that has been around when Mom and I have attended a needlework show in the past few years, we can *shop* 😉

  1. I’ve only ever seen 1 double rainbow in person in my entire life. It was the day we moved to TX. We were on the far side of Houston and there it was. I’ve always taken it as a good sign, rather than a sign of it’s pouring down rain and no know around here knows how to drive. lol

Glad you like the fabric, you can help me pick out some co-ordinating quarters at Festival. 😀

  2. That is just too cool. Love that rainbow. I would imagine they are scarce in AZ.

  3. Thanks for the rainbows Annette. Did you make a wish??!!

  4. Double rainbow!! That is VERY lucky. Thanks for sharing with us.

  5. Beautiful pics! I love clouds too- I am always snapping pics of them with my phone as well. How cool that you caught the rainbows!

  6. Nice pic! I always forget I have a phone cam, too LOL
