The Curse of Chalion

The Curse of Chalion by Lois McMaster Bujold

First in the Chalion Series.

This is what good epic fantasy is all about. It has great characters, compelling story, politics, a little magic, a few gods and a nice sprinkling of humor. This one will be read over and over. I’m just sorry I only ordered the first in the series and now I have to wait for the next book!

  1. Fantastic book, isn’t it? And Caz is such a wonderful hero. Sorry you have to wait for the next one. It’s good too. Of course, Bujold usually is good.

  2. Isn’t it great? I read it and then I got it on tape for work, and then I also bought the hard cover. I liked the second book as well (Paladin of Souls), but I really enjoyed the Hallowed Hunt more than the second one. It doesn’t take place in Chalion, but is still set in the same world.
