The Traveling Pattern – Ready to Travel On

I was very fortunate to be the lastest stop for the traveling Lizzie*Kate Life’s A Stitch pattern. I quite literally dropped my current WIP and stitched it up in just a couple days.

It’s on Light Blue Jobelan using Dinky Dyes silk. The border is Kiah and the rest are picked out from my Oops stash.

My version joins the ten fabulous versions that came before me:

Since this is a Traveling Pattern, it now needs to move on to another stitcher.  And so it’s time for a drawing.

If you would like to be a part of the Stitcherhood for this Traveling Pattern, here are the rules:

1. Comment on this post, saying you would like to be part of the Stitcherhood.

2. You agree (if you are chosen) to stitch the design and send it along to the next person in a timely manner. If this means dropping everything in your rotation to concentrate on this project…so be it. If you can’t bring yourself to do this ~ don’t sign up.

3. You must have an active blog to participate. If you have a blog but never post to it ~ you won’t be chosen to be the next stitcher.

4. This is a giveaway-type Travelling Pattern. That means you must follow it from blogger to blogger to enter each time it is ready to send along. Commenting on this post doesn’t make you a guaranteed part of the Stitcherhood.

Just for fun – also tell me the one design you would love to finish in 2012 if time weren’t a factor!

If you want to be considered, act fast – I’ll only take names until Friday, February 17th.  I’ll do the drawing on Saturday, and hopefully have the piece en route to its next location early next week!

**edit to put in a date that hasn’t already passed!

  1. I would love to be part of the sisterhood, especially considering the original one seems to have gotten off track and I really wanted to be a part of that one. This one looks like a lovely, quick stitch!

  2. Oh, I’d LOVE to do this!!! Please put me in the drawing.

As for the one design I’d love to finish in 2012, that would have to be Chatelaine’s Egypt Garden, which I am stitching for the second time (we do not discuss the first one **shudder**). I’m just over it already.

  3. Love the colours you used Annette 🙂
Please add my name into the hat.
I would really love to stitch a large traditional sampler. This is a big stretch for 2012 as I don’t even own a big trad. sampler pattern! Maybe one day!

  4. I’ve been following this since Angela first offered it for travel. Please include me for the chance to stitch it.
I have so many BAPs going I don’t know which I would want to finish first. Maybe HAED Fantasies of the Seas.

  5. I would love to join the traveling stitcherhood!

As for what I would love to finish in 2012? I took a class for CA Well’s “Sampler Cottage Etui” way back in 2002; I would love to finish that one!

  6. Looks great! And what a fast stitch for you.

  7. Hi Anette i would love to have a chance on stitching it 😀 I think it’s so cute…

  8. Obviously don’t add me to the drawing – your version looks great! 🙂

  9. I would live to be part of the traveling pattern. I would love to get japanese garden finished this year.

  10. I love the idea of a traveling pattern! That is really fun 🙂

  11. Woo! Enter me, please! I would be thrilled to stitch this up.

If time stood still I’d finish up TW’s Peacock Tapestry…my ten-year WIP.

  12. Nice finish! I’d love to be part of the Stitcherhood.

If I had time, I would love to finish Fish City this year.

  13. A beautiful version of this piece. I stitched it as the center of my Lizzie Kate Round Robin many years ago. While I don’t need to participate in this Traveling Pattern Stitcherhood I love the idea.

If I had time I would finish TW’s StoryTeller.

  14. Annette, the colors you chose are just beautiful! Great finish!
