Turtle Trot 2015
Travel mucks with the posting schedule…
Three of my ten pieces saw action this month.
Mill Hill Wanda’s Witchery has a little more progress. I worked on the outside frame:
I finished Part 1 of Lizzie*Kate’s Unseen Things Mystery
And finally… I finished January’s Chalk design from Hands on Design
On to next month! 🙂
Another small for DH completed:
Mill Hill Baseball Mitt
I’ve since added felt backing and the magnet to finish-finish it.
That’s the third finish for 2013 and all now in DH’s possession…. hmmm. I think the next one needs to be for me! LOL
Finished last night… Mill Hill’s Winter Wonderland (Bead & Button kit)
(crappy pic… it is blue & white. There’s no yellow or pink…the price for non-sunlight pics!)
Next will be Square #2 on Stars of the New Millennium and then on to Christmastide 🙂
With the travel this week, I had the opportunity to do my usual weekend errands on Thursday which leaves me with *nothing* urgent to do this weekend.
And other than a walk to a local mailbox (to drop in a couple packages), no tasks needing my urgent attention.
That means two glorious days of stitching with a short break for dinner out on Saturday eve (Famous Dave’s! Woot!).
The next WIP getting my attention and hopefully a 2012 finish is Ink Circles Masquerade. Here’s where it stands as of this morning:
Hopefully, I won’t get distracted……
The finishing frenzy is still going strong here…
Mill Hill Goblins Welcome ornament
The stitching had been done on this for awhile… only needed stuffing, hanger and tassels. Done!
Elizabeth and Darcy are having a grand time at the Zombie Ball:
(Crappy pic, I know…ugh). Platinum Cashel. I did make the goblets metallic and switched a couple colors (CC Muddy Puddle to WDW Onyx and CC Smoke to WDW Dolphin Grey – most of the rest is DMC)
Next up is a true “Obligation October” piece 🙂
Yikes… when I signed up for the WIPocalypse and Theme-a-licious posts, I was kinda hoping to have at least *two* posts per month. Not have them both hit on the same day… yikes.
The penguin is off to Nicole! Can’t wait to see him stitched up 🙂
One more item off the list…
Not bad for restarting him this month 🙂
For July – holidays were the theme. In addition to the Christmas-y charmer above, I started the Lizzie*Kate Halloween Mystery.
Because… well… I could. And Halloween is my very favorite holiday 🙂
(sorry for the blurry pic… yikes)
August plans tomorrow….
Finished stitching boxes for the upcoming Mirabilia RR:
I’ve dictated the boxes this time….
I’ll be sending chart bits along…
I also worked on Mill Hill Winter Wonderland kit (started in Dec 2010)
I did add a few more x’s before the weekend was done, so it’s coming along.
All accomplished with IronMan 2, A-Team (original series and last year’s movie) and a half dozen episodes of Mad Men Season 2.
Gotta love long weekends!
